I seem to have an obsession with fat kitties. Like the one you see here. I’m reminded of a big fat cat that I met at a moving sale. It was an indoor sale because it’s way hot in Arizona, and all of the items for sale were in various rooms of the house… there wasn’t anything there that i wanted to buy- it was the typical moving sale stuff… but there was one room with nothing in it but a huge fat cat that looked like it needed to spend some time in the kitty gym.. a few hours on an elliptical would do this cat a world of good. Anyway, my friends and I went into the room and the cat made a funny noise. I wasn’t sure if it was friendly or not, but I put my hand out for the kitty and it started purring and drooling all over the place. The strange sound it made was supposed to be a meow.. And the kitty was shedding like crazy from lack of attention. It was a really sweet cat.

This cat is frolicking in a tub full of water! This is highly unusual activity for a feline- most kitties have an unusually strong fear of shower faucets and other bathroom fixtures. I’ve never had a cat that liked to get wet. Some of them tolerate it, but they certainly don’t enjoy it. Most of them will eventually start yeowling and trying to escape the shower. I’ve had cats that would tolerate being washed, but you could tell that they’d much rather be somewhere else. Check out merlin the cat in the shower!
