My cats are pretty awesome. In fact, I call one of my cats ‘Awesomecat’ even though her name is really Sandy. We’ve trained our other cat to give us a high five. That’s really awesome. I’m going to film it SOON. So, this little awesome cat of ours always wants to play when we go to bed. It’s mostly out fault because the first thing we did when we brought her home from the pound was to plop her down on our mattress and play with her using a laser pointer. Now she expects us to play with her every night right before bed. This wouldn’t be such a bad thing except she claws up our sheets pretty badly in the process.

I went for a bike ride today and saw this sign… I couldn’t resist snapping a shot with my phone.

I love how the owners of this car can afford to pay for a vanity plate that states their poverty level. I wonder if they’re collecting disability insurance or welfare while wasting dough on vanity plates.. This reminds me of those Katrina survivors who were wasting their government issued funds on strippers and expensive purses. I think if I was going to get a vanity plate, it would say “GO TSE”. Now that would be an awesome vanity plate.

Look ma, no brakes!

This anteater has some serious attitude. I was thinking about getting a pet anteater.. but then I realized that it would probably be a bit difficult to get my hands on one.

I’ve never heard a rap song about bicycles with loud radios, but I’vew seen a handful of bicycle stereos online…

It’s been a while since I posted pictures of my kitties, so here you go. The picture above is Screecher.. she’s snoozing it up on a bookshelf. She’s a pretty awesome cat, but she doesn’t let us pet her very much unless she’s in the bathroom. Strange kitty!

Screecher really likes her pet water fountain. She used to enjoy drinking from the bathroom faucet, so we decided to get her a fountain. As you can tell, she’s quite the fan of it… I think she’s imagining herself in the Serengeti here.

Sleeping Screech strikes again… Instead of buying her a pet bed, we let her sleep in a laundry hamper with an old bathrobe in it for padding.

Finally, a picture of Sandy… she’s napping, too. You’d think we had a eucalyptus plantation in the backyard from all the sleeping pics I got! They’re not always like this, I swear!

So… I guess you could say that these two cats have a good thing going here… all the food you can eat… a dog-proof home , and occasionally, they catch a lizard… okay, I’m not too crazy about the lizard part…

We stopped buying cat toys for them once we say that they have as much fun chasing milk bottle tops and q-tips as they do with real cat toys. Our last cat used to hunt birds, and I wasn’t too crazy about that… he was even tormenting someones pet cockatoo that had somehow escaped from it’s bird cage. Our cat’s a re a bit more mellow now, but I had to save a baby bird from little Sandy just a week ago…

After seeing the movies bolt and bedtime stories, I thought it would be cool to get a guinea pig. I think it’s a guinea pig… I’m talking about the big pet rodent… I hear that they get along with cats pretty well. I’d like a bunny, too… but my wife is allergic to them.
