Captchas blow. What’s worse than filling out captchas? The fact that the real hackers/spammers have the tools to defeat them. This causes the captcha creators to make even tougher captchas, producing stuff that humans cannot pass, yet software can crack it anyway.

You know what also sucks? I’ve run into rare instances where the word shown in the captcha and the word that they wanted me to input were not the same, making it literally impossible for me to sign up/whatever it was I was doing.
