I feel like Rodney Dangerfield; I get no respect. I quit working for other people because I was tired of being passed up for promotion and not being given credit for my outstanding efforts. I eventually found other ways to make some dough, and I even tried my hand at running websites for cash… let me tell you- don’t bother trying to blog for money- it’s not worth it! You get paid third world wages to write about Outer Banks vacation rentals and are not likely to ever make ends meet without some form of divine intervention or incredible luck. I started selling stuff on ebay and it’s like a roller coaster, only instead of making my stomach turn, it’s making my bank account to cartwheels and filling my house with a bunch of odds and ends, but at least every now and then I make a big score, and I am at least somewhat in control of my own income. I’m going to be a thousandaire before you know it.
